Select a folder in Mediaflow by clicking on it.
Then click the Access tab in the right panel.
Now, it's time to add your portal to the list of available groups. Click on "Add group" in the drop-down list and select the name of your portal.
When your portal is in the list with a green check mark, it means that this folder is now being displayed on your portal. Don't forget to save your changes.
Remove folders from a portal
If you want to remove folders with content from your portal, this is done under the tab Access. Uncheck the checkbox for your portal so that it becomes white (avoid red crosses). Don't forget to save your changes. Now, the folder has been removed from the portal.
Manage subfolders
You can choose to display the contents of subfolders either by managing one subfolder at a time or all of the subfolders located under a root folder, at once. Here are the following options when working with subfolders:
1. Settings for displaying content on Root folder level
Display your selected folder on the portal, and check the option: "Update all subfolders to inherit only these settings." This means that all subfolders are now displayed on the portal. This option is checked as a default, which means that any subfolders are now also published to the portal. If you do not wish to publish the contents of subfolders, you can uncheck this box.
2. Settings for displaying content on subfolder level
Display the root folder, but do not check the "Update all subfolders to inherit only these settings". Repeat this step for each subfolder that you wish to display.
3. Exclude specific subfolders
Display the selected root folder and check the option: "Update all subfolders to inherit only these settings". This means that all subfolders are now displayed on the portal. Next, click on a subfolder that should not be shared and uncheck the checkbox for your Media Portal under "Access to folder" until the box is empty.
