A new search menu, updates in our Brand Portal, and a new AI-supported Knowledge Base are some new features released in Mediaflow recently.
Media Bank
New Search Menu
When you search in the search box, a new search menu will appear in the right panel next to your search results. You can quickly and easily modify your search by adding keywords, folders, file types, or filters. You can also view your search history under Shortcuts.
New Icon for View options
The various view options for files in the Media Bank have been consolidated under a drop-down menu. You can switch between the different options using keyboard shortcuts 1-5.
Brand Portal
We continue to develop our Brand Portals with new features, many of which are based on user requests. Here are some of the latest updates:
Video as Hero
Improve your portal's visual appeal by setting a video as the background in a hero section.
Link to Files in Mediaflow
Now, you can create a link to a specific image, video, or design template by connecting a link button to a file in Mediaflow.
Improved Help Menu for Quick Start
Under the Help tab in your Brand Portal, you will find links to articles in Mediaflow's Knowledge Base, helping you get started quickly and work effectively with your portal. You can also find links to inspiring portals from our clients.
You can learn more about how the various blocks in a Brand Portal work by using our new demo portal Brand Portal Blocks.
More Updates in Brand Portal:
- Ability to add a caption in text and image blocks.
- Search results in the portal have been divided into two different sections: search on pages and search on files that you have published for download.
- Option to choose page anchors when creating a link. This adds precision to navigation within the page.
Learn More About Mediaflow
New AI-Supported Knowledge Base
When you search for a question, the AI understands what you are asking and generates a response, with links to relevant articles. It combines smart information from multiple sources, helping you find what you need even if you don't know where to look.
Integrations
Updated Integration for Wordpress
A new version of our integration has been approved for the latest version of WordPress (6.8.1).
Updated Integration for Learningpoint
The integration now supports usage reporting. This occurs automatically when you use a file from Mediaflow in Learningpoint.
Other Updates
Faster Processing for Video
Thanks to new infrastructure and a smarter queue system for video, we can now process many more videos simultaneously. For you as a user, this means your films will be ready for playback, embedding, editing in Video Manager, and downloading in various converted formats more quickly. Additionally, the system is more scalable, allowing us to rapidly increase capacity as demand grows.
Mediaflow's File Selector
- There is a new option to return file ID instead of the URL in the File Selector.
- You can set the desired image format (JPG, PNG, or WebP) when using the API.
Improvements:
- Clearer information when trying to create a user with an already existing username.
- You can now select the option “non-responsive iframe” when embedding a colour theme for the video player.
- The media portals visible on the homepage for administrators are now clickable.
- When you download an image with a download preset, the filename, rather than the title, is now included.
Bug Fixes:
- Resolved an issue where files could not be removed from a folder using the backspace key.
- Fixed a problem with unchecking suggested individuals in the GDPR module.
- Addressed an issue where the yellow Superadmin tab did not disappear after leaving Superadmin mode.
