Craft CMS is a modern and flexible publishing tool that makes it easy to create and manage content on websites. It has a clean and user-friendly interface suitable for both editors and designers. The system is particularly well suited for websites where you want full control over structure, design, and functionality.
The integration is built by 99x
The plugin for Craft CMS is built by the full-service provider 99x and has been made available in the Craft Plugin Store. If you have technical questions, you can contact johan@99x.io and if you have sales questions, you can contact steinar@99x.io.
Information about the integration
To be able to use this integration, the Craft CMS integration must be included in your agreement with Mediaflow.
Capabilities with Mediaflow’s integration
Mediaflow’s integration in Craft CMS allows the user to:
- Import images and video clips from Mediaflow for use on the website or websites in Craft CMS.
- Track which images have been used on the website in Craft CMS since the usage of these is recorded in Mediaflow.
Insert images from Mediaflow
In Craft CMS you can add images from Mediaflow in various places; in fields and in body text. When you choose to insert an image from Mediaflow, it is saved locally in the Craft CMS assets folder.
Steps to insert an image or video
- Click on the button labelled Select media that belongs to Mediaflow.
- Mediaflow’s file picker opens. Select an image. Click Use this file.
- Change the filename if you wish and enter an alt text. Click Use this file. The image is now transferred from Mediaflow to Craft CMS and displayed with a thumbnail in the field where you chose to insert the image.
Using images from Mediaflow in body textTo use images from Mediaflow in body text, you must first download the image to the assets folder and then insert it from there into the body text.
The name of the Mediaflow fieldThe media field for the image or video from Mediaflow can have different names depending on which developer has added it to the one or more Entry types on your website.
Steps to insert video
- Click on the button labelled Select media.
2. Mediaflow’s file picker opens. Select a video. Click Use this file.
3. Choose whether you want to embed the video with Javascript or in an Iframe. We recommend Javascript.
4. Here you have the option to choose whether the video should loop, or start a bit into the video.
5. Click Use this file. The video appears embedded in the administrative interface and on the website according to your settings.
To remove the embedded video from the content, click the small cross and choose to save the content.
If you want to replace a video with another, it is easiest to click Select media, choose a new video and then save the content.
