Click on the Portal tab in the sidebar of Mediaflow. Here, you will see an overview of all your portals. To access the admin mode for a portal, click on Edit for the respective portal. The admin mode for the portal will then open in a new tab in your browser. Under the Settings tab, you will find general settings for language, metadata fields, security, and advanced settings.
General Settings
Enter the name you use for your Brand Portal within your organisation. This is the name that the portal will have in Mediaflow. You also have the option to upload your logo as a favicon and app icon, as well as determine the settings that apply when downloading files. If you have the Video Manager feature, Player Themes, you can select which theme should be used in the portal.
Language
It is possible to have your portal in different language versions. The number of language versions you can create depends on your agreement.
Language for the Portal's Admin Mode
The language you have in the admin mode for your Brand Portal is determined by the language you, as a user, have selected under your profile in Mediaflow's interface.
Metadata Fields in the Files Block
In the Brand Portal you can utilize the Files Block to make files available for the visitors in the portal for downloading or showcasing. This setting let's you adjust which metadata fields from Mediaflow will be shown on the file preview page, when selecting a file in the Files Block. This is done by dragging and dropping between available fields from Mediaflow and visible fields in the Portal.
Note that if a certain metadata is empty for a specific file the metadata field will not be shown altogether on the file preview page.
Note that metadata fields are not visible to the visitors in any other block then the Files Block. The exception is the Photographer field and the Alt-text fields which are copied to the portal when you select an image or video from Mediaflow in Admin and can be edited separately within the portal.
Security
Under the Security tab, you can choose to enter approved IP addresses so that visitors can automatically access the portal from these addresses without needing to log in. Furthermore, you can enable password protection for your portal by checking Require login and clicking Add portal user. You can now add multiple portal users. If you have multiple portals, you will select which portal or portals this portal user should have access to at this stage.
Users in Mediaflow and portal users are two separate logins that do not affect each other in any way. If you already have a portal, portal users from that portal will also appear in the list when you click Add portal user. You can choose to create a new login by clicking New user. It is perfectly acceptable to create a portal user/login that multiple people can share. This allows, for example, for a single login per department rather than creating a login for each individual.
Advanced Settings
Under the advanced settings, you can choose whether your Brand Portal should be searchable in search engines or not.
