With the Microsoft Office plugin, you can insert images directly from Mediaflow into Microsoft PowerPoint and Word. You don't have to download files to insert them and important metadata for the file, such as photographer, GDPR information, licence rights, etc will be accessible.
Get started with the Microsoft Office plugin
After the plugin is installed, you will have access to the Insert Image Image Bank button under the Insert tab. This applies to both Word and PowerPoint. If you are using the plugin for the first time, you will need to log in with the same login details as for Mediaflow.
Only for Office 365 Desktop and PC
The Office integration is not supported by Microsoft Office One Drive (cloud version), or Mac.
Insert images in Word and PowerPoint
If you click the button you’ll access the same folder structure as when you are logged into Mediaflow. You can now browse folders, search for files, see important information about the files and insert images into your project. When you insert an image, you have three options for the quality of the image. You choose between Standard quality, High quality or Original at the bottom left and then click on "Insert image". The image will then be mounted in your Word or PowerPoint document.
You can continue working and save the document as usual. The image is now saved in the document and even if someone deletes the image from Mediaflow, it will remain in your document.
Install the Microsoft Office plugin
To install the plugin, you must first find out which bit version of Microsoft Office you have. It is not Windows 32 or 64 bit that matters here but the bit version of the Office package. Click on Account and then the "About Word" button. Your Office bit version number is now at the top of the new window that pops up.
The plugin is installed per computer and user. Download the installation file to install:

Microsoft Office integration for your entire organisation
There is also an integration that allows all Microsoft Office users to insert images from Mediaflow into Microsoft PowerPoint and Word. The plugin for Pro users is installed on your computer. You can then log in with the same credentials you use to log in to Mediaflow and you will see the same folder structure when you click on the Mediaflow icon in Word or PowerPoint. Microsoft Office integrationen instead uses a licence key so that the Insert button appears to anyone with access to Microsoft Office and no login is needed. The administrators in Mediaflow choose which folders Office users have access to.

Tip for Pro users
If you have an office.org integration, as a Pro user you can always log in with your credentials to bring up "your" folder structure to select from images. To log out and back in, click the insert image button and then double-click the Mediaflow icon in the top left. NOTE! It is a prerequisite that only the Microsoft Office integration is installed. If you have previously installed the plugin on your computer, it needs to be uninstalled.
