With the integration to Drupal, you can publish your images and videos from Mediaflow directly on your website or intranet. It's a fantastic way for editors to always have access to files that are GDPR-compliant, have the correct alt texts, and videos that are accessibility-adapted. Drupal users do not need to download files to their computer first and thus do not need a login to Mediaflow. (However, they can have a login to Mediaflow for other needs.)
Get Started with the Integration
You can start using the integration as soon as it is installed in Drupal. To use the files optimally, you need to have prepared the settings for them in Mediaflow first.
Publishing Images and Videos in Drupal
Once the integration is installed, a button will show in CKEditor where you can use Mediaflow's Fileselector to embed images or videos.
In addition to working with Mediaflow in the editor, you can also add a field to content types. You do this by clicking the Pick Mediaflow media button to open Mediaflow's Fileselector.
In the Fileselector, you can browse through your folders to find the file you want to use.
When you have found the right file, click Use this file.
You can specify the format you want for the image and the area of the image you want to use. If it is a video you want to use, you will instead choose the type of embedding, autoplay, and the start time of the video at this step.
The image is then embedded in the field and will appear where you have chosen to display it.
